How parlay odds are calculated

A parlay multiplies the decimal odds of every leg. Three legs at 1.91, 2.50 and 1.50 combine to 1.91 × 2.50 × 1.50 = 7.16, so a 100 stake returns 716. Every leg must win: one loss and the whole parlay loses.

That is why parlays pay big but hit rarely. The implied chance shown above is the market's estimate that all legs win together.

FAQ

How are parlay payouts calculated?

Convert each leg to decimal odds, multiply them together, then multiply by your stake for the total payout.

What happens if one leg is a tie or postponed?

Usually that leg is removed and the parlay pays on the remaining legs. On MockSport, void legs drop out the same way.

Are parlays a good idea?

They are fun but hard to win, because the bookmaker margin compounds with every leg. Treat them as long shots.
