Giants vs Texans Game and Pick Analysis

The Giants face the Houston Texans for week 7 and I believe it's going to be a lot closer than anticipated. There are a lot of great value for picks throughout the game so lets get into it. The Houston Texans have been fighting back after their rough start in the beginning of the season. Don't get me wrong here I think the Texans will win but I don’t think it will be more than 10 points so I would take the Giants spread for this game at +10.5 at -115.

Going into more statistical player picks I would take JJ McCarthy over 11.5 yards for his longest rush. The Giants before last game used him just to run the ball in read option plays. Last game when he came late in the game he had a rushing average of 13 yards on limited play time. He's young and not afraid to use his legs which I think will really defy this game overall is his ability to be mobile and work the pocket with the strong defensive unit he's facing with the Texans.

Another player I would take for this game would be Jaylin Noel over 2.5 receptions. In the past 3 weeks he has hit this line and has proved himself to his quarterback and his offense with his recent performances. I know Tank Dell is making his debut after his injury but I don't think it will change that much in Noel's production and targets.

Cam Skattebo is also someone I would take over for this week at 35.5 yards. With the Giants releasing Najee Harris who was the other power back in the running back room Skattebo will get more touches this game. I also think this will free up the Giants passing offense and take some pressure off McCarthy if they can get the run game going.
