How fantasy football points are scored
- Passing: 1 point per 25 yards, 4 points per touchdown (6 in some leagues), minus 2 per interception
- Rushing and receiving: 1 point per 10 yards, 6 points per touchdown
- Receptions: 0 (standard), 0.5 (half PPR) or 1 (PPR)
- Minus 2 per fumble lost, plus 2 per 2-point conversion
Example: a receiver with 8 catches for 110 yards and a touchdown scores 17 points in standard, 21 in half PPR and 25 in PPR. A quarterback with 300 passing yards, 2 touchdowns, 1 interception and 20 rushing yards scores 20 points with 4-point passing touchdowns.
FAQ
What is the difference between standard, half PPR and PPR?
PPR means points per reception. Standard scoring gives nothing for a catch, half PPR gives 0.5 points and full PPR gives 1 point per reception. Everything else is scored the same.
How many points is a passing touchdown?
4 points in most leagues, 6 in some. Pick your league's setting above. Rushing and receiving touchdowns are 6 points everywhere.
How are yards scored?
1 point for every 25 passing yards and 1 point for every 10 rushing or receiving yards, with decimals (a 110-yard game is 11 points).
Does this match my league exactly?
It uses the most common default settings. Leagues can add bonuses (like 100-yard games) or change values, so check your league's scoring page if a number looks off.
